Why this Camino

The Camino de Fátima follows the Rota Carmelita — a route steeped in faith, history, and the quiet beauty of central Portugal. We walk from Coimbra, one of Portugal's most beautiful medieval university cities, through small towns and rural landscapes, arriving at the Sanctuary of Fátima on the evening of June 18.

The timing is intentional. On that evening, we join thousands of pilgrims for the candlelight procession at the Sanctuary — a deeply moving experience that has drawn people from all over the world for decades.

This is a women-only pilgrimage, held in an atmosphere of mutual support and care. Every detail is taken care of: accommodation, meals, luggage transport, and the guidance of an experienced leader throughout the entire route.

This journey is yours if...

  • You're in good physical condition and can walk several hours a day — but you don't need to be an athlete.
  • You're drawn to pilgrimage as a spiritual experience — a time for reflection, prayer, and inner quiet
  • You want to travel in a women-only group, in an atmosphere of mutual support
  • You want every detail taken care of: accommodation, meals, luggage transport, and logistics
  • Everyone is welcome in our group,  regardless of age, beliefs, or life experience.
