A women-only pilgrimage along the Rota Carmelita — walking to the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the most sacred sites in the world.
A pilgrimage is not just a journey to a place. It is a journey to yourself — and this one ends at one of the most sacred sanctuaries in the world.

The Camino de Fátima follows the Rota Carmelita — a route steeped in faith, history, and the quiet beauty of central Portugal. We walk from Coimbra, one of Portugal's most beautiful medieval university cities, through small towns and rural landscapes, arriving at the Sanctuary of Fátima on the evening of June 18.
The timing is intentional. On that evening, we join thousands of pilgrims for the candlelight procession at the Sanctuary — a deeply moving experience that has drawn people from all over the world for decades.
This is a women-only pilgrimage, held in an atmosphere of mutual support and care. Every detail is taken care of: accommodation, meals, luggage transport, and the guidance of an experienced leader throughout the entire route.

You'll stay in 1–3 person rooms in guesthouses and hotels, and a shared dormitory reserved exclusively for our group. Accommodation varies by stage: a hotel in the historic old town of Coimbra, a pilgrim albergue in Alvorge, estate guesthouses in Ansião and Freixianda, and a hotel just 100 meters from the Sanctuary of Fátima on your last night.
Participants arrive independently at Porto Airport. We help with flight selection from any city and organize a group transfer to Coimbra, the start of the Camino.

Yes. On most stages, transport is available for those who need to rest.
Hiking days vary in length and terrain. The routes are moderate, with the option of shorter variants and support transport on most stages.
No athletic experience is required. The Camino is suitable for people in good physical condition who can walk several hours a day with breaks. If you have any doubts about whether you'll be able to complete the Camino, please don't hesitate to reach out. Marta will personally address your concerns, answer your questions, and support you in making the right decision for you.
Not at all. You do not need to be religious or Catholic to join the Camino.
The Camino brings together people from all backgrounds and motivations — spiritual, personal, or simply for the experience. What matters most is a positive attitude and respect for fellow participants.
Our guides take care to create a warm and supportive atmosphere throughout the journey, so that everyone feels safe, included, and genuinely welcome. Some trips are also accompanied by a Catholic priest, which can be a meaningful option for those who wish for spiritual guidance, attend daily Mass, or experience the Camino as a pilgrimage.
It's a shared journey where differences are valued, and everyone can find their own meaning along the way.
